Why Suki?

FYI:

The new RapidKL system is really cool. My roomie and I went backpacking in Europe yesterday. Minus the backpacks and minus Europe. But KL was an adventure when we were RapdKL bus-hopping from Shah Alam-KL Sentral, KL Sentral-KL and KL-KLCC...and all for FREE! Travelling by bus has never been so much fun(and affordable too)!

Recapping last Saturday's "One in a Million" Grand Finale...

IT SUCKED!!!

Faizal was the one who should have won!

I remember the first OIAM concert I watched was when there were still eight (I think) of them in the competition....and Faizal's performance was what made OIAM worth watching every week after FIT (Friday-in-Togetherness) at CSS.

Who doesn't love Faizal?
He's got the looks.
He's got the voice.
He can really sing.
And he's really really good with music and songs.
His trademark song "L.O.V.E" and the theme song for One Tree Hill - both of which he cleverly included in his final performance medley with his version of "We Will Rock You"....was absolutely (in the words of Paul Moss) brilliant!

And in the end, Suki wins?!

I'll give it that she sings OK but to beat Faizal? That's just...Illogical!

I don't think Malaysians are very good with the whole "voting system"...give them the "power to vote" for who should win a singing competition like One in a Million(OIAM), Malaysian Idol(MI) and Akademi Fantasia(AF)...they'll vote for the Sukis(OIAM), Daniels(MI) and Mawis(AF) of the country...give them the "power to vote" for elections and they'll vote for an MP that they'll be bi*ching about after elections....

About the only time I agreed with the "system" was when Jac won the 1st Malaysian Idol....every singing competition after that just sucked.

Guess that's why its called Reality Shows.
