"Hi. I'm not who you think I am."
FYI:
My bestfriend is coming to town in December...and staying with me!
AWESOME!!!!
I just pray I won't be sent off to work before then.
I did submit that resume early this month.
Gulp.
---------------------------------------------
It's 6 o'clock.
I'm hungry.
1 more hour till break fast.
Fasting, although not from 6am-7pm since I only skip lunch, is really taking its toll on my tummy.
I can't wait for Raya if it means the cafe will be open and I can eat in public again...
*Recalls*
It was the 2nd day of the fasting month when my roomie and I went to KL and attacked the McD at Central Market.
It was 3pm.
And it was vacant.
(Well...except for the people who work there and one or two customers awaiting their "take-out".)
As several pairs of eyes studied me,I went straight to the counter.
The lady behind the cash register looked at me suspiciously.
"Eat in." I tell her.
She gave me a scrutinizing look.
After I placed my order, she still had her eyes on me - and she didn't even key-in what I had ordered into the register!
She opened her mouth to speak.
"Would you like fries with that?" was what she would've asked any normal day.
But on that day (in this month) she phrased that into: "Are you Malay?"
Yeesh.
Just cause I don't look Chinese or Indian.
Maybe I should've introduced myself before I said "Eat in."
Maybe next year.
