Young & Restless

FYI: This post is a tribute to those who have come and gone through what I can only describe as the most BORING phase of my life (for now)....

The transition phase of moving on from being a "student" to a "working adult".

In other words, The JobHunting Season.

To those who've been there: How did you all go through it?

-------------------------------------

In case I haven't made myself clear, do you guys know how freakin BORING I am right now?!

My daily routine:

Wake up.
Bath.
House chores.
Breakfast.
Prepare lunch.
Lunch.
Housechores.
Nap.
Prepare dinner.
Dinner.
Watch TV.
Sleep.

And it's like that practically every single day (except Sunday go church in the morning and the other RARE exceptions like going shopping at night.)

I'm so tired of doing nothing!

Usually,I love the opportunity of resting at home and naps in the afternoon etc but when everyday is the same routine, I get headaches just thinking of sleep. I can't stand this idleness!

What makes it worse is I don't know when this waiting will end.

The plan was to take a break for a while then head back to West Malaysia and find a temp job there while waiting for my Convocation. But then, recently, my Mom decides she doesn't want to let me go back there. She wants me to find a permanent job or temp in Kuching instead.

I haven't agreed to her idea but it's usually very difficult to disagree with her. So...if I am gonna be heading of to Kch instead after this, the date is also at the moment unknown since she wants me to escort my younger brother's transfer to a new school in Kch - and if my guess is right, that could mean sometime end of February.

Another whole month of idleness!!!

I think I'm gonna die...

And finding a temp job is impossible here (Brunei) cos the employer's will not be willing to invest in paying for a work permit for a foreingner's (me-Malaysian) temp job when they can hire locals to temp without the need of the permit issue. And finding a Permanent job in Brunei? you ask. That's equally impossible as my mom doesn't want us to work here. Besides, the whole family (what's left of the remaining members that are still in Brunei) will all be moving back to Sarawak in 2009.

In conclusion, I'm definitely dying of boredom.

Help...
